THANK YOU for your participation at one of our PLC at Work events. We have been excited to learn about the progress many schools have made and the impact PLCs are making to the student learning and collaborative culture of schools. As a past participant we would like to offer you the chance to book a PLC In-School Coaching Support day for you school before we advertise to the public. Below is a detailed description of the program.
At Hawker Brownlow Professional Learning Solutions, we believe in an action learning model of in-school professional development. We customise educational services that foster discussion around best classroom practice, concrete strategies for improved instruction and ways to deepen implementation. We have expert trainers who are available to work with you.
Becoming a PLC is an ongoing process in which educators work collaboratively in recurring cycles of collective inquiry and action research to achieve better results for the students they serve. PLC In-School Coaching support provides schools with highly skilled coaches who can facilitate high levels of dialogue with teams of educators to clarify, analyse, explore and plan the range of possibilities available to achieve the schools PLC goals and priorities. The support includes personalised coaching, feedback and mentoring to guide your school to move forward on the PLC continuum.
How we can support you...
Personalised approach by our trained associates
Evaluate strengths and identify challenges unique to your school
Develop a step by step action plan to meet your schools needs
Flexible structure to suit school priorities and staff release which eliminates the need to organise a pupil free day
Leadership Team Meeting (Morning) HBPLS associate may work with the leadership team. This work might entail reflections, planning and problem resolving.
Intensive Coaching Support (Mid-Morning) HBPLS associate may work with a designated staff member or group and coach them through the work that they are involved in. This may include support with the development of a guaranteed and viable curriculum, assessment design, data analysis and collaborative protocols.
PLC Leadership Team Meeting (Afternoon) HBPLS associate may discuss with the leadership team reflections of the day and support the development of an action plan to support future direction.
Possible PD relating to PLCs (After-school) From time to time there may be the need to conduct on site training to investigate, explore and learn in more depth particular PLC concepts. This will result from the needs of the staff as they implement PLC concepts and ideas.
